Here’s a humble art form known to improve a person’s health and well-being, in addition to creativity and concentration.Created by a monk and an artist, it uses repetitive patterns and focussed attention to help relieve stress and anxiety. This is a great way to relax before going to bed every night!
You don’t need to be an artist. There is no concept of good or bad creation in this art form. Try it out, and you’ll discover a wonderfully simple activity that works well to calm yourself, or keep busy while waiting for meetings.
You will need:
- A sheet of white paper
- A pencil and eraser
- A fine-tipped black pen (coloured pens work well too)
- An open mind, and eagerness to learn to meditate and draw!
